Stefan Fickl
Dr. Stefan Fickl DMD, PhD, received his dental degree from Erlangen University, Germany in 2003 and completed his postgraduate training in periodontology and implant dentistry in Munich, Germany in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 he served as a faculty member in the Department of Peridontology and Implant Dentistry (Chair: Dr. Dennis Tarnow) at New York University, New York, United States. He then went to Würzburg University, Germany, where he received his PhD in 2011 and since then has served as an Associate Professor for Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Fickl also maintains a private office in Nuremberg-Fuerth, Germany, dedicated to periodontics, implant dentistry and esthetics. Dr. Fickl is an ITI Fellow, an international speaker in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry and author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
