Samuel Akhondi
Dr. Samuel Akhondi is a clinician and full-time research fellow at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Department for Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterial Sciences as well as the Department of Periodontology. He is involved in postgraduate teaching and clinical research in implant dentistry, with a particular interest in digital workflows. Dr. Akhondi received his dental degree from the Medical University of Vienna and completed a Master of Science in Oral Implantology at Goethe University Frankfurt. He was an ITI Scholar at Harvard and currently serves as the Director of the ITI Study Club Vienna. He was recently nominated to become an ITI Fellow and has received several academic distinctions, including the André Schroeder Research Prize, the AO Research Prize, and the Austrian Dental Award. Dr. Akhondi has authored peer-reviewed publications and lectures internationally on topics related to implant dentistry.
