Ryan Lee
Dr. Ryan Lee, BMSc, BDent, MCD, PhD, graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia and completed his specialist training program at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, London, UK. Currently, he is the director of a specialist training program in periodontology and discipline lead at the School of Dentistry, University of Queensland. Dr. Lee currently combines this with his part-time specialist practice in periodontology and implant dentistry. He has published in peer-reviewed international journals and regularly lectures nationally and internationally. He has strong research interests in clinical periodontology, diabetes, wound healing, periodontal and bone regeneration, and 3D-printed ridge reconstruction. He is a federal councillor of QLD as well as the incoming president of the Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP-Federal). He is also serving as Honorary Secretary for the International Association for Dental Research (IADR-ANZ Division). Dr. Lee is the editor-in-chief of the Australian Journal of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (AJPID).
