Renan Belli
Dr. Renan Belli has been an associate scientist at the Research Laboratory for Dental Biomaterials Research at the University Clinic of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany since 2012. He obtained his DDS, MS and PhD from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil, with a scientific fellowship stay in Erlangen in 2009 and 2010 funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the Forschungsgemeinschaft Dental e.V. His scientific interests are fracture mechanisms and testing methodologies spanning from quasi-brittle to plastic behavior for application in natural tooth tissues and artificial restoratives. He is currently the Vice-President of the Fracto Forum International.
