Marc Balmer
Marc Balmer, Dr. med. dent., is a Senior Teaching and Research Assistant, who graduated in 2008 from the Center of Dental Medicine, University of Zurich and received his Dr. med. dent. degree from the same institution. After a 6-year period as a full-time associate in a private practice he received a postgraduate education degree in general dentistry (SSO). Since 2014 he has been working at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry, University of Zurich. He holds the title of Specialist in Reconstructive Dentistry (SSRD/SSO) and a Master of Oral Implantology (UZH). Dr. Balmer's clinical expertise revolves around the treatment of complex and esthetic dental cases, encompassing all facets of reconstructive dentistry, including implant dentistry. He initiated the implementation of digital knowledge management at the clinic and is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. At the clinic, he is responsible for research in applied technologies and robotics in dentistry as well as ceramic implantology.
