Prof. Dr. med. Dr. med. dent. Eik Schiegnitz is Professor and Head of the Division of Implantology in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Medical Center Mainz. He holds medical and dental degrees, a Master of Science in Implantology and Periodontology, and is Chief Editor of the International Journal of Implant Dentistry. He is also an ITI Fellow, Education Delegate of the ITI Section Germany, and owner of the private practice MKG Burgstrasse in Wiesbaden.
