David Sabbah
Dr. David Sabbah, DDS, MS received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with honors from the University of Montreal. He subsequently pursued advanced clinical training through a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, followed by an oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at Jacobi Medical Center in affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sabbah completed his postgraduate residency and earned a Master of Science degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. His current research focus is on the microarchitectural assessment of peri-implant bone in D4 sites using ex-vivo microCT technology. Dr. Sabbah held academic and leadership appointments such as Chief Resident, director of the Predoctoral Honors Program in Periodontology, and AAP Foundation Student Ambassador and has lectured on interdisciplinary treatment planning, management of implant complications, and contemporary surgical techniques in implantology at major academic forums, including the Northeast Implant Symposium at Harvard University and Rutgers University. He is the recipient of several distinctions, including the Dr. Paul Tannenbaum and Dr. Robert Schoor Memorial Award from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. His peer-reviewed publications appear in Clinical Advances in Periodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Cases, addressing topics such as dual-flap techniques for gingival overgrowth and rare maxillofacial pathologies. Dr. Sabbah’s professional interests lie at the intersection of clinical excellence, surgical innovation, and academic leadership.
