Bernd Stadlinger
Prof. Dr. Dr. Bernd Stadlinger is Deputy Head of the Clinic of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the Center for Dental Medicine and adjunct professor (Titularprofessor) at the University of Zurich. He is an oral & maxillofacial surgeon with a clinical interest in dento-alveolar surgery, bone augmentation and oral medicine. His research interest is focused on bone biology, imaging techniques, computerized medicine and modern approaches to medical education. He has authored over 100 scientific articles, book chapters and scientific films on oral surgery, oral radiology and oral medicine. He is also one of the editors of the film series “Cell-to-Cell Communication” and of the cell atlas “Visual Biology in Oral Medicine”. Prof. Stadlinger is a board member of the Swiss Society for Oral Surgery and Stomatology (SSOS), secretary of the Swiss Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (SADMFR) and president of Swiss Working Group for Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Diseases (SAKM). He is also a founding member of the AIDM (Artificial Intelligence in Dental Medicine) association and associate faculty at the ETH Zurich AI-Center.
